Mogadishu (KAAB TV) – The administration of Banadir Region and Hamar Local Government held a conference on the awareness of the elections by person and voice in Mogadishu.
The Minister of Internal Security of the Federal Government of Somalia, Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail Fartaag, who spoke at the forum, said that the preparation of the administration and the community of Banadir Region for the direct elections will open the door to the people’s and vote’s elections in the whole of Somalia.
The governor of Banadir region and the mayor of Mogadishu, Mohamed Ahmed Amir, who spoke at the forum, said that the Banadir region administration is committed to bringing the people of the capital to the election of people and votes, to elect the administrative leadership that did not come by nomination, and he noted that the demarcation of the registration and public voting sites in Banadir region has recently been completed.
This event to mark the elections in the country was attended by all the members of the Banadir regional administration, including the Cabinet of Ministers, the various sections of the community, and all the people who spoke at the place said that there is a need for an election of people and votes.
