The Somali Police Gave Details of Explosions Heard in Mogadishu.

Mogadishu (KAAB TV) – The Somali police issued a press release and talked about explosions that took place last night at 11:00 PM in Mogadishu that took place in Darussalam District of Banadir Region.

The police said that the explosions did not cause any loss of life or money, but they were disrupting the security as stated.

“The Somali Police Force confirms to the Somali community and the media that there is no security threat in the capital of Mogadishu. The terrorist groups tried to create fear by placing fake landmines in a business center in Darussalam District, the press release said.

The statement added, “These mines have been confirmed to be non-destructive and do not cause any danger.” There was no loss of life or property as a result of the incident. The police force responded quickly to this incident and took the necessary measures to ensure the safety and trust of the community.”

Finally, the Somali Police asked the people to increase cooperation between security agencies that are responsible for protecting their lives, property and security.

“The Police Command calls on the public to cooperate with the security forces in peace, and to beware of false news that is disturbing the Somali community,” concluded the press release issued by the Somali Police Command.

Mogadishu has been quiet for a while after hearing the sound of explosions, many people heard several explosions last night, the security forces of the Federal Government of Somalia who went to Darussalam District have conducted operations until now the results have been presented.
