MD Hassan Sheikh and RW Abiy Ahmed Understood Each Other on The Implementation of The Ankara Agreement

Addis Ababa (KAAB TV) – Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud arrived in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, yesterday afternoon where he was warmly welcomed, and last night he had a special meeting with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.

Also, these two leaders discussed the interests of the two countries and how to cooperate in the regional situation and strengthen the relationship between the two peoples and the two countries.

On the other hand, President Hassan Sheikh and Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed agreed to restore and enhance the relationship between the two countries through the re-operation of the diplomatic representation of the two countries.

President Hassan Sheikh and Prime Minister Abiy agreed to strengthen the stability of the region which is important for the two countries to have close cooperation based on trust and mutual respect.

The discussions also discussed the continuation of security cooperation between the two governments.

The two leaders recognized the importance of economic, trade and investment cooperation, agreeing to expand the infrastructure that facilitates trade and overall economic development of the two countries.

In the end, the two leaders agreed to implement the Ankara Agreement through a friendly atmosphere and goodwill, and the acceleration of the technical committees for the implementation of the agreement was agreed.
