Kampala (KAAB TV) – The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, attended the summit of the African Agricultural Development Program (CAADP) in Kampala, Uganda.
Also, in this conference where the Ministers of Agriculture of the African countries were sitting, the leaders discussed the implementation of the plans and the recommendations made for the development of agricultural production, the promotion of the economy and ensuring food security in the African continent.
On the other hand, President Hassan, who gave a speech at the conference, presented Somalia’s commitment to developing agricultural production and utilizing the country’s natural resources.
President Hassan and his delegation held meetings with their counterparts from the countries that participated in the conference, in order to strengthen the diplomatic role of Somalia in the African continent.
The president is hoping to continue to Ethiopia, where he will complete the meeting in Ankara between him and Abiy Ahmed, which was mediated by President Erdogan, and he is expected to reach Ethiopia and Somalia in early April.
