Mogadishu (KAAB TV) – The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, reports that he will travel to Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, where he will hold important meetings with the Prime Minister of Ethiopia.
According to reliable sources, President Hassan Sheikh has received an official invitation from the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, and he will go to Addis Ababa for a one-day visit, to hold meetings there with Abiy Ahmed.
Also, President Hassan Sheikh and Abiy will discuss the implementation of the agreement they reached in Ankara, the capital of Turkey.
On the other hand, some reports say that it is possible for President Hassan Sheikh and Abiy Ahmed to sign preliminary agreements regarding the maritime agreement reached in Ankara, in which Ethiopia was allowed to lease parts of Somalia’s waters.
The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, is also expected to go to Kampala, the capital of Uganda, where he will hold a conference attended by various leaders.
In any case, after the agreement reached by Hassan Sheikh and Abiy Ahmed in Ankara, a delegation of ministers from the two countries reached between the cities of Addis Ababa and Mogadishu, who discussed the implementation of the agreements reached before and the new ones.
