Mogadishu (KAAB TV) – JFS President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has recently headed to Baladweyne City where a platform is being laid to listen to the concerns of Hiran people against the Hir-Shabelle Regional Government.
MP Abdirahman Gurey, who said that he was carrying a message from President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, the Elders of Hiraan tradition said that they should prepare for the dialogue to find a solution.
He pointed out that it is not possible to be politically divided while finding a lasting solution to the problems of Hiran people as stated by MP Abdirahman Gurey.
“The message we took from the President is that the security of the Government should be handed over to Baladweyne, what is going on should be discussed and corrected, the Federal Government should not negotiate and the security should be handed over, we sat down with the President twice” MP Abdirahman Gurey.
Traditional elders, politicians and other members from the Hiran Region have repeatedly criticized the Hir-Shabelle Regional Government.
