Garowe (KAAB TV) – The Minister of Interior and Federal Affairs of the Puntland state, Abdi Farah Juha, strongly opposed the removal of the governor and his deputy by the local council of Saaho district.
Also, Minister Juxa has said that there is nothing wrong with the sacking of the Saaho local council, and he said that his ministry still recognizes the sacked members as governors and deputy governors.
“The Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Puntland government, Abdi Farah Juhaa, has decided that there is nothing to do with the removal of the position of the governor and deputy governor of Saaho district in Mudug region,” said the statement from the ministry.
On the other hand, the local council of Saaho district in Mudug region, it is said that they lost confidence in the district governor and his deputy, and they accused these officials of lack of duty and that they failed to perform their duties.
