Venancio to Mozambique and Fear of Violence in Mozambique

|

Mozambique (KAAB TV) – In Mozambique, in the past few days, there has been a strong crisis that has had a negative impact on many parts of the country, after the supporters of the opposition leader staged violent demonstrations.

Likewise, the election in Mozambique caused chaos and violence after the country’s electoral commission announced that Daniel Chapo of the ruling Frelimo party had won the election.

On the other hand, the leader of the opposition abroad in Mozambique, Venancio Mondlane, announced that he will return to his country on Thursday, and there is a fear that there will be renewed violence as a result of the arrival of this opposition leader.

In a message posted by Venancio Mondlane on his social media, he announced that he will be coming on Thursday, before the swearing in and inauguration of the new President who won the election.

In any case, the government does not know what action it will take if the leader of the opposition returns to the country, and the government may go ahead of the leader of the opposition to enter the country, and it is feared that they will create violence again.
