DOOLOW (Kaab TV) – Jubbaland’s First Vice President, Mohamud Sayid Adan, arrived in Doolow today, just hours after the Federal Government of Somalia suspended all flights from Mogadishu to the district in the Gedo region.
The First Vice President of Jubbaland, Mohamud Sayid Adan, along with a delegation he led, returned from Ethiopia, where he had been for the past few days.
The delegation received a warm welcome in Doolow, led by the Minister of Security, General Yusuf Hussein Dhumal, the Commissioner of Doolow district, Mohamed Hussein Abdi Lafay, and other officials.
During his stay in the region, the Vice President is expected to hold meetings with various community members and regional officials to hear their views and assess the situation in the region.

Meanwhile, a delegation led by the Federal Government’s Minister of Security, General Abdullahi Ismail Fartaag, is currently in Garbahaarey, carrying out activities opposing Jubbaland’s administration in Gedo.
The Minister, who has been in Garbahaarey for the past few days, is holding meetings with military personnel, members of the former Gedo administration removed by Jubbaland’s Ahmed Madobe, and local elders.
