A man identified as Ma’alimey, a close aide and personal assistant to Commander Shub, has been arrested in the town of Doolow in Somalia’s Gedo region over allegations that he may have been involved in a recent attack targeting the commander’s residence, according to local sources.
The arrest is linked to a missile attack carried out on the night of September 3, which struck the home of Commander Shub and left him injured.
He was later transported to a hospital for medical treatment. While independent reports have confirmed that the attack took place, authorities have not yet officially identified those responsible.
According to information emerging from Doolow, Ma’alimey had reportedly been in Mogadishu in the days leading up to the incident and was not present at the commander’s residence when the attack occurred.
