Mogadishu (Kaab TV) – The Commander of the Bari Regional Police Division, Si’iid Adan, survived a car accident last night on the road connecting the districts of Garowe and Dangorayo in the Nugaal region.
The accident involved a police patrol vehicle and occurred near the village of (Sin-ujiif). Two officers who were part of the commander’s security detail were injured in the crash.
The injured officers were taken last night to the General Hospital in Garowe, where they are currently receiving treatment. Medical officials reported that their condition is improving.
The commander, who recently assumed office, was traveling to Garowe, the capital of Puntland, at the time of the accident. However, security authorities have not yet officially commented on the incident.
