Jigjiga (Kaab TV) – A high-level delegation from the Ethiopian government, led by the Chief of Staff of the Ethiopian National Defense Force, Field Marshal Birhanu Jula, arrived in Jigjiga earlier yesterday.
The delegation also includes the head of Ethiopia’s National Intelligence and Security Service, Redwan Hussein, General Haji, and several other senior officials.
Their visit to Jigjiga is reportedly linked to security matters and efforts to strengthen cooperation between the federal government and the Somali regional administration, although the exact purpose of the trip has not yet been officially disclosed.
The officials are expected to hold meetings with leaders of the Somali Regional State to discuss the security situation and other key issues.
