Mogadishu (Kaab TV) – The Federal Government of Somalia has issued a statement strongly condemning a drone attack carried out against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia using two unmanned aerial vehicles, which were reportedly intercepted and destroyed after entering the country’s airspace.

In a press statement issued by Somalia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the attack was described as a serious violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and a threat to regional peace and stability. Somalia reaffirmed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and expressed support for all measures aimed at safeguarding its security, stability, and territorial integrity.

The Somali government stressed that attacks targeting Saudi Arabia’s critical infrastructure undermine the collective stability of the region.

Somalia also called for restraint, respect for international law, and renewed efforts to preserve security and stability across the wider region.
