KISMAYO (Kaab TV) – The Ministry of Women, Family Affairs and Human Rights today officially launched the annual 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign in Kismayo.
The event was attended by senior officials of the Jubaland government, led by Jubaland’s Minister of Women, Family Affairs and Human Rights, Mrs. Adar Ismail Abdullahi, along with representatives from various international and local organizations, the Regional Women’s Association, district authorities, and community members from different sectors.
This year’s campaign is being held under the theme: “UNITE to End Violence Against All Women & Girls!”—a call for collective action to protect the rights and safety of women and girls everywhere.
The Ministry of Women, Family Affairs and Human Rights in Jubaland once again reaffirmed its leadership and commitment to defending, supporting, and safeguarding women, children, and vulnerable groups.
