Mogadishu (KAAB TV) – MP Sareedo Mohamed Abdulle, representing the South West, verbally confronted MP Hassan Firimbi, the leader behind the motion calling for the banning of Jubbaland MPs, during a session in Parliament today.
Sareedo accused Firimbi of making disruptive statements, asserting that he was not intimidated by the motion.
“This man is jumping around, stop it! It’s you causing problems. People have been arrested before. I tell the country to stand firm. If anyone speaks after me today, I will stand outside and face you. Sit down!” Sareedo declared.
She also expressed her frustration with the parliament’s lack of order, saying, “We need to turn this parliament around. The chairman, who shakes hands, must lead the ethics and law committee. Anyone who insults another must be held accountable.”
The exchange followed a tense confrontation on Saturday when MP Hassan Firimbi and MP Gobsan clashed in Parliament, resulting in a chaotic scene.
