Aalimiskaad (KAAB TV) – Puntland forces have launched a large-scale operation this morning to drive out the Daesh group from their areas and positions in the mountains under Qandala district.
The Puntland defense forces have attacked the Dhasaan area of Qandala district from several directions, and the forces want to drive out Daesh fighters who are said to have positions there.
The Puntland defense forces, which have made a lot of progress in the last operations, went to the difficult mountains where the operation was going on for the first time, and it is expected that they will drive out the terrorist groups.
Puntland army officers who are leading the operation have announced that their troops are now moving to areas including Af-ad, Khankooib and Dhasaan, and these areas are said to be on the verge of removing Daesh without a fight.
The Puntland forces are now concluding the second phase of the operation to eliminate the Daesh group, and the forces will prepare again for other operations to end the Daesh group.
