The South West High Court Has Sentenced A Man To Death For Killing His Grandmother

Baidoa (KAAB TV) – The Supreme Court of South West Administration today executed Yusuf Jeylani Seef, after he was found to have killed his grandmother, Hawo Abdi Hassan (Afikirow) on the 4th of this month, in Awdheegle District of Shebelle Hose region.

The South West Prosecutor’s Office charged the accused with a serious charge, accusing him of violating Article 434 of the Somali Penal Code, read with Article 24, Paragraph 1 and Article 39, Letter (D), which clearly define the crime of murder.

The chairman of the South West High Court, Ahmed Ali Musse, decided that Yusuf Jeylani Seef should be sentenced to death by shooting, in order to carry out the murder of the late Hawa Abdi Hassan, and teach him a hard lesson to prevent brutal crimes.

The South West administration has started in recent days to quickly shoot people who commit murders in the areas of the South West Administration in order to prevent organized crime.
