Kismayo (KAAB TV) – The forces of the Jubbaland administration, which carried out a planned operation in the outskirts of the town of Dhobley in the Lower Jubba region, killed members of the Al Shabaab group, which were said to be causing problems to the local people.
Jubbaland army officials said that the army killed four Al-Shabaab members in this operation, and noted that the operation took place in Lafo-gari area on the outskirts of Dhobley.
The operation carried out by the Jubbaland forces also arrested a man who the Jubbaland security agencies said was an Al Shabaab officer in charge of the Lafo-gari local court, and the officer’s name was identified as Maallin Mohamed.
Jubbaland government forces sometimes carry out planned operations against the Al-Shabaab group, which many times killed Al-Shabaab members and captured others alive.
