Mogadishu (KAAB TV) – The government of Somalia is conducting an auction in Mogadishu of the land owned by the government as well as the houses where some of the leaders of the country lived.
MP Abdirahman Abdishakur Warsame, said that the government leaders will auction Villa Baidoa and also the house where Mohamed Haji Ibrahim Igal, the former Prime Minister of Somalia and the former President of Somaliland lived in Mogadishu.
“Vila Baidoa, which is the home of God’s mercy, Muhammad Haji Ibrahim Igal, is being auctioned. I recently met a man who was a minister in the previous government, and his father was a minister in the revolutionary government, and his house was taken away. It has become a habit for us to look at injustice and injustice because they did not have it then, but shout with both tongues if it comes to you,” said Abdirahman Abdishakur.
The member of parliament said that if the looting of public property and public interest is not prevented, the lands and houses belonging to the public will be legalized.
“If the destruction of public property and public interest is not prevented, it will happen that people’s land and houses will be confiscated as government property, because the oppression will spread, and those who are involved will find it when they do not expect it and where they do not expect it,” said the MP.
