Omdurman (KAAB TV) – Sudan’s Ministry of Health said on Saturday that at least 54 people were killed and 158 were injured after RSF rebels fired artillery at a market in the city of Omdurman.
The news from the RSF was denied by the news from the Ministry, which blamed the attack on the armed forces of Sudan.
The warring parties in Sudan have been accused several times of targeting civilian areas since the civil war began in April 2023.
The conflict in Sudan has displaced millions of people while thousands have become refugees in foreign countries, mostly neighboring countries.
The United Nations said that half of the people of Sudan go to bed hungry, while hundreds of thousands of children suffer from malnutrition.
