Kismayo (KAAB TV) – Jubbaland has granted amnesty to the soldiers of their administration who have already defected and joined those of DF who have a strong dispute with the president of that administration, Ahmed Madobe.
The governor of Badhaadhe district in Lower Jubba region, Hassan Noor Abdi, has succeeded in peacefully bringing in an army of those who defected to the former governor of the district, who were used by the DF to oppose the president of the administration.
The army that had already left for the DF side, after long negotiations, succeeded in returning to the Jubbaland army that they were part of.
An attempt by the DF to send troops to parts of the Lower Jubba region to put pressure on Ahmed Madobe, who opposed the process of public elections intended by President Hassan Sheikh, and held his own election in Kismayo, failed.
Jubbaland administration has recently foiled a military operation that the DF forces deployed in Raskambooni, most of them were captured and returned to Mogadishu while others crossed the Kenyan border, others were killed in the war and some injured.
